Dear Parents, Carers,
What an eventful Autumn term we have had! Thank you all for your support and continued kindness.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team here at Grange, they have all worked tirelessly to ensure your children are looked after and given good opportunities to learn. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be, and make positive changes to our curriculum and learning routines to ensure your children are receiving the best education we can give them.
Today you will receive a short school report outlining where your child is currently working. Please do not worry if they are working below the expected standard. You will see that teachers have offered some guidance in the way in which you can support your children at home. We have also identified these areas of need, and children will be receiving additional support at school during small group activities and interventions. If you would like more clarification regarding your child’s report, please let your child’s class teacher know in January, and they will aim to meet with you to discuss any matters further.
To prepare for any possible changes in Public Health advice, all education and childcare settings have been asked to review their existing outbreak plans to ensure they are well prepared for any future changes. As a school we have done this and our contingency guidance will be uploaded to the school website shortly. If during the winter holiday we are informed by the Government we need to close, we will send a parent mail text or email to you outlining all relevant information. We will also upload all documents, announcements, and letters to our school website. The information will be located under the COVID UPDATES icon on the front page of the school website. Finally, I would like to congratulate the children, well done to you all. Your winter performances were fantastic you learnt the words and worked hard with your classmates. You sang your hearts out and everyone was very proud of you.
I would like to wish you all many Seasonal Greetings, and hope you get to have a restful few weeks with family. We look forward to seeing you all back with us (hopefully!) on Thursday 6th January 2022.
