Dear Parents, Carers,

Thank you for adhering to our Covid 19 updates and helping to keep our school community safe. We will be sending out an additional COVID letter on Monday regarding support for you and your children if isolating. Please ensure you read the letter, as it will include some important information should National and Government plans change before January.

Well done to Nursery and Reception who sang beautifully to a socially distanced audience yesterday. We were fortunate with the weather, and the children and staff did a fantastic job. Thanks  to the PTA for providing warming hot chocolate and mince pies. Please ensure you bring some change to your child’s concert next week, to ensure you can donate to the PTA and grab a few raffle tickets. A flyer will be sent out on Monday showcasing the exciting prizes you could win should you choose to enter the PTA’s raffle!

This week we have looked at Maths lessons across the school. It was nice to see what the children have been up to watching some great lessons. This term the children have been using resources from the White Rose Maths hub and learning how to reason. If you would like some more information about the strategies we are using, or to practise at home with your child, please look at the White Rose website which provides great free parent resources.

Next week is our last week before our holiday. Please remember we close at 2pm on Friday 17th December, and there will be no After School Club on this day. Class teachers will be sending notes home regarding the class parties which are taking place on Friday, 17th December so please look out for these in book bags.
