Dear Parents,
We are getting closer to the end of term and are busy planning some exciting events. On Friday 15th July we will be holding our Prize Assembly where some children will be awarded for effort and application of skills.
On Monday 18th July our Summer Fair will take place. On Wednesday 20th July our Carnival of Cultures will be presented to you all. Please pay special attention to letters about all of these events so you don’t miss out on the fun!
Well done to all our children for the progress they have made this year. A particular well done to all the year 6 children. This week the SATs results were published. All year 6 families will receive the official SATs results as well as the teacher assessment results on Friday 15th July with your child’s school report. Please remember that your children have been the first Year 6 group to sit these tests in two years and have had a disrupted education over the past two years. SATs results are not the making of a person, nor should they define a person. Your children have worked really hard, and we are all really proud of their achievements.
This week many of our year 6 children left their families and spent a few days away together on our year 6 residential trip to Juniper Hall. A great time was had by all, and we are looking forward to hearing more about their adventures on Monday!
