On Thursday the children learnt about the Windrush. HMT Empire Windrush is best remembered today for bringing one of the first large groups of post-war West Indian immigrants to the United Kingdom. The ship carried 1027 passengers and two stowaways on a voyage from Jamaica to London in 1948.
Thanks to Miss Rosie Hall for organising this activity for the school. Please look at our Instagram and Twitter pages to see some of the work the children completed!
