Dear Parents,
What a busy week it has been. We have been really busy preparing for the end of term, classes have enjoyed creating their banners, masks, musical instruments and head dresses in preparation for carnival next week.
We can’t wait for you to see the artist creations your children have made! Please make sure you join us at 2.15pm on Wednesday 19th July. To ensure we can all get out of the main gate for the parade please wait for your child’s class on the grass area opposite the school. Once your child’s class has left the school please join them to parade around the local area. The parade will last for no longer than an hour. Once back at school we will bring the children back to class, close the gates and dismiss as usual.
Once all children have been dismissed to parents and carers safely, the gates will be open for you to come and enjoy our international food festival and celebration. International dishes, cakes, BBQ food will be on sale as well as a bouncy castle and henna tattooing. Please come along ready to purchase a dish and support the school. All money raised will go towards future school events
