Olympic Dance Workshops
It seems like only yesterday we were racing up and down the country, celebrating the last Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro during Summer 2016. This week all our children took part in an Olympic Dance Day. Each year group focused on a country and learnt a traditional dance routine. Our pupils are very excited for the Olympics, but also understand why traits like resilience, kindness and sportsmanship have as big a place there as they do in the classroom.
Police Visit:
As part of transition to secondary school, our Year 6 children took part in a workshop delivered by 2 police officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team. They talked to the children about keeping safe online. The children had lots of questions to ask the police officers and were thoughtful about the content discussed.
Well Done to our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils for being so well –behaved in the sessions with the School Nurse and Police officers! We are very PROUD of all of you!!!
Have a restful weekend!
