Dear Grange families,
While black history is celebrated year round, Black History Month is marked annually. It recognises and values the inspirational individuals and events that have shaped our world. During Black History Month we remember and celebrate the important people from the past and also those who contribute to and help our society today.
Although, it goes without saying, these are histories and lives that must be recognised and valued throughout the year; October is a special time when we acknowledge them nationwide. Teachers at Grange Primary School have planned a series of lessons, activities and assemblies to take place in October designed to explore this area of the curriculum.
Best wishes from the Grange Team.
