Hand washing is the simplest and most effective way to help stop the spread of germs. Washing your hands properly removes dirt, viruses and bacteria and this stops them spreading to other people and objects, which can then spread illnesses.
It is important to wash hands:
– After using the toilet
– After handling raw foods like chicken , meat and vegetables
– Before eating or handling ready to eat food.
– After having contact with animals, including pets.
Please encourage your child to wash their hands thoroughly and together we can help minimise the spread of nasty bugs!
Please can we remind you that if your child has sickness or diarrhoea they need to be kept off for school for 48 hours from their last bout of sickness or diarrhoea.
Best wishes from the Grange Team.
