Reception -Year 6

Punctuality is a valuable life skill for a child’s future economic well-being. It is important that all children arrive at school on time so they can make a prompt start to their learning every day. If a child arrives in their classroom late they can disturb the learning of others and miss out on important information for their day.

We have a staggered start to the school day and children can arrive at school from 08:40 and go to their classrooms from 08:45, when the doors are opened and staff are ready to greet the children in their classrooms.

At 15:30 the children come into the playground to be collected. Children are collected from the MUGA or main body of the playground and class staff acknowledge when parents or carers collect their children. Parents and carers are requested to avoid trying to collect children as they come out of the building, due to the risk of congestion.
