Religious Education is a vital part of learning within Grange, which provides a contemporary study of religion. This prepares children for later life in a world made up of many faiths and beliefs, giving them a better understanding of the community that surrounds them.
Due consideration within this framework will be given to other faiths and children are never told what to believe.
Respect, tolerance and understanding for the beliefs of others will be promoted as part of our programme. The school has adopted the L.E.A.’s Religious Education Policy and implements the teaching of RE through whole school focus days.
Each of the six main religions has a dedicated day to enable the children to get a broad range of understanding and to cover the minimum requirements for Religious Education through teaching and learning.
