Collective Worship
As a maintained school, Grange must provide a daily act of collective worship for all registered pupils to promote their spiritual, moral and cultural development.
At Grange, collective worship, more commonly known as ‘assembly’ occurs in a variety of ways for all children from Y1-Y6. There is a combination of whole school, key stage, celebration and class assembly during a typical week. Every session includes time for reflection. Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage experience awe, wonder and reflection within their learning environment as part of the curriculum.
Collective Worship is usually led by Grange teaching staff and cover a range of themes which are values based. Please see the links below for some examples of collective worship themes.
